Stuart Bane is a Sydney colourist with 26 years behind the chair and a growing focus on hair and scalp health. Originally from the UK, he moved to Sydney 13 years ago and is known for a fresh, simple approach and a calm, down-to-earth manner.

His curiosity about why hair behaves the way it does led him into trichology and cosmetic science. Today he combines colour artistry with a science-led understanding of the scalp, the hair fibre and the products that go on it. The goal is colour that looks amazing and leaves hair in great condition.

Earlier in his career, Stuart was a platform artist for global colour brands, teaching in Dubai, Moscow, New York, London and Beijing. In 2021 he went freelance to keep growing creatively and to make education honest and accessible.

His signature style? Sellable. Bold technique and the full colour spectrum, always with a polished, healthy finish.
